Guided tours

A guided tour will ensure that your visit to the palace is particularly memorable. Our knowledgeable guides bring objects to life, putting them into their historical contexts.

The number of places on each tour is limited. To book a guided tour for larger groups, see menu Group Visits.

For external guides, from October 2021 guided tours are allowed in the Royal Apartments (not in the exhibition Daisy).

Guided tours of the Royal Apartments is planned to start from November, times will be announced here.

October 2021:

Guided tour of the exhibition 'Daisy. Crownprincess Margareta' daily during October, in Swedish:

10:30, 12:30 and 14:30

The guided tours takes approximately 45 minutes. Limitied numbers of 15 participants.

Exhibition ticket (100 kr) inlcuding guided tour (30 kr) pre-buys here at webbsite, or at the cash desk at the Royal Palace. You will be able to stroll on your own in the exhibition before and after the tour.

*When the Royal Apartments close fully or partly in conjunction with official receptions of His Majesty The King, the guided tour will take place in one of the Palace's halls or sites.

Audio guide

Audio guide is available to the Bernadotte Apartments. The audio guide, free of charge, describes the rooms as you pass through them – their history, the décor, the collections and how the rooms are used today.

Due to the pandemi the audio guide units, that usual can be borrowed at the palace, has been removed. Instead, the auido guide is available in your mobile phone, via webb link:
